COVID-19 PROPERTY ENHANCED HEALTH PROTOCOL

Dear Valuable Guests,

 

We closely monitor COVID-19 updates and meticulously follow the guidelines set by both the World Health Organization (WHO), the Hellenic National Health Organization (EODY), and the Hellenic Tourism Organization (EOT).

Our property has already been certified with the Greek “Health First” Protocol by the National Health Organisation (EODY). Depending on the way the Covid-19 pandemic will be evolving, Health & Safety Protocols will be applied in our property, for the protection of both our guests and our staff.

Therefore, staff and guests alike will be required to follow and respect specific instructions that will be clearly explained to everybody, in order for us to comply with all health and safety regulations and expert protocols from the World Health Organization (WHO), the Greek Ministry of Health (MoH), the National Health Organization (EODY) and the Ministry of Tourism (MoT).

 

For the Health and safety of our Guests and Staff, our Property operates in line with the Greek Government Health Protocol that is issued for Tourism Businesses under "Health First" Covid-19 directive regulations and as outlined below:

To further enhance health and safety protocols, our Property follows the key hallmarks below which will be implemented effectively:

  • Higher Standards of cleanliness and hygiene, obtained local authority Health First accreditation.

  • Appropriate checks on arrival for guests and employees. For example, temperature checks for all guests as appropriate.

  • Disinfection kits available to guests and employees. Sanitizers, masks and anti-bacterial wipes.

  • Frequent and regular sanitization of high contact points.

  • Use of technology to enhance guest experience and safety. Credit cards, E-banking-payments, Email communication, etc...

  • All payment transactions are done by credit/debit card and sending of bills, invoices, and receipts may be done online.

  • The communication with Reception will not be taking place with the physical presence of customers and staff but through via Email and Viber.

  • Guests must meet one or more requirements to stay in this property: Proof of full Covid-19 vaccination, a recent valid negative coronavirus PCR test, or recent proof of coronavirus recovery.

  • Ensure higher cleanliness and hygiene standards during guest stay.

  • Enforce safe distancing measures as a precaution of one meter distance for interactions between guests and employees.

  • Appropriate health and safety gear. regular use of personal protective equipment, when appropriate, to ensure the health and safety of guests and employees.

  • The entrance of Non-Residents in the Property is strictly prohibited.

Accommodation Files and Property Log Book

  • Also, according to the Greek legislation, but also according to the instructions of EODY, a COVID-19 file is kept in our hotel, for our guests and our partners. In particular, we are obliged to record: Room Number, Name, Nationality, Passport Number, Country of Origin, Date of Birth, Date of Arrival and Departure and contact details (address, telephone, email), for contact detection in case. 

  • The management guarantees safety and confidentiality regarding the General Regulation on Personal Data Protection (GDPR) and that all visitors have been informed that a file is being kept for public health reasons.

Accommodation Services

  • Staff are taking all the necessary hygiene measures (hand washing, keeping social distance at least One meter from customers, avoid handshakes and following all the appropriate rules of hygiene.

  • Special equipment (medical kit) such as gloves, masks, antiseptics, cleaning wipes, aprons, long sleeve robe, laser thermometer will be available for any incidents.

  • Our reception desk contains antiseptic liquid for use by all Guests

  • Check-in/Check-out will be facilitated outdoors at our executive lounge/barbeque area, in order to avoid congestion during those services. Guests are requested to check-in/Check-out promptly in order to avoid any unnecessary delays or fees.

  • Extension of check-out and check-in between stays (check out until 11.00 am and check in from 3.00 pm). This change in the time interval between each check-in and check-out between different guests is required to ensure that the room is cleaned, thoroughly disinfected and adequate natural ventilation of the space is followed. Each room following the departure of a guest and before the check in of the next guest is thoroughly cleaned and disinfected by appropriate disinfectants.

  •  After your check-in, the reception works remotely through Email & Viber application for your safety we minimize contacts.

  • Our updated Check in and Check out times are mandatory to ensure sufficient cleaning, disinfection and adequate ventilation of every room between each Guest Stay:

  • Check-in: 15:00pm - 18:00--------MANDATORY unless notified for after hours Check-in

  • Check-out-Until 11:00am------MANDATORY

  • Our updated Reception Hours are from 9:00am to 18:00pm. Guests are encouraged to communicate via Email or Viber for any request.

  • Late Check-Out or Early Check-In subject on Availability and Extra Charges.

  • Early Check-In Fees: 20 EU per hour from 12:00pm till 15:00. Subject on Availability IF NO GUEST IS OCCUPYING THE ROOM THE SAME DAY.

  • Late Check-Out Fees: 20EU per hour from 11:00am till 15:00. After 15:00 a Full Day Fee is applied. Subject on Availability IF NO GUEST WILL BE OCCUPYING THE ROOM THE SAME DAY.

  • All Room Keys have been disinfected between each Guest Stay. On Check-out Guest/s are required to place all Room Keys in a designated box at Reception or leave inside the apartment besides the mirror stands.

  • Entry of Non-Residents is strictly prohibited in the Property. Guests who may see any friends or family that do not reside at the Property are required to meet them at a public location.

  • The Property is following the Cleaning and Disinfection Program as per EODY (Government Health Protocol)

  • Reinforcement of sanitary services in all high risk areas and surfaces (ie. door handles, knobs, etc...)

  • Meticulous cleaning and good room ventilation during the time duration between stays

  • All Guests shall follow Social Distance of at least 1-Meter, Wear a Mask and Gloves when in Public Areas of the Property. Mandatory Requirement.

  • Only up to 8 Guests at a time are allowed in our executive lounge/barbeque area.

Limited Housekeeping

We also follow the following regulations by the Ministry of Health:

  • Non-Regular Room Cleaning during the stay (to avoid unnecessary contact of cleaning staff with possible case and further possible Covid-19 transmission)

  • Housekeeping will be less frequent during your stay.

  • Towels and sheets will be changed every 3 to 4 days upon your Request Only. Service must be pre-scheduled or declined on arrival.

  • Elimination of daily change of bed linens and towels and evening preparation, only at the request of the Customer. Extra fees apply.

  • The Property offers Free Housekeeping Services that includes Change of Bed Linen & Towels, along with Trash Removal Every 3 to 4 Days on Customer Request only. Al Guests must Pre-Schedule or Decline these Services on Arrival.

  • Strict observance of placement and handling of dirty linen. Guests are kindly requested to place all dirty linen and towels in a special closed bag provided by the Property. New bed linen and towels will be provided upon Guest request.

  • Guestrooms will be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected between Guest/s Stays. Housekeeping Service during a Guest Stay will be Based upon Guest Preference, Recognizing that Some Guests May Not Want Staff Entering their Room. Additional amenities such as linens and toiletries will be available upon request, delivered at the Guestroom door.

  • All linen used by our guests will be collected and handled with care to avoid dispersal of microorganisms into the environment. The linen will be placed in special bags and then into laundries

  • Each rental is fully restocked with necessary supplies for your length of stay upon arrival.

  • Adjusted room cleaning services to the guest comfort level

  • Specific rules have been applied regarding handling waste, used linens, recyclables, as well as clean linens, room preparation, transfer and handling in laundry area to prevent cross contamination and to protect staff and guests.

  • Daily Housekeeping Services are Suspended.

  • Guests are kindly requested to open the windows for natural ventilation of the space daily

  • Entry of Non-Residents in the room is Not Allowed.

Sanitation services after the checkout of the guests

  • Fabric surfaces (bed, curtains, pillows) will be cleaned with a steam appliance.

  • Usage of disinfectant for the cleaning of the WC, shower, and kitchen.

  • Total disinfection of the room with odorless disinfectant sprayer in all the surfaces of the room.

  • Total disinfection of all common multi-purpose items.

  • Floor Disinfection with chlorine inside and outside of the room.

  • All exterior seats and tables will be disinfected after a guest leaves and before used by another guest.

  • Meticulous cleaning and very good room ventilation will take place between stays of guests.

Air conditioning and space ventilation

  • In all rooms of the property, the instructions are applied by the Ministry of Health for “Taking measures to ensure public health from viral and other infections when using air conditioning units”.
    In detail:

  • Regular maintenance and chemical cleaning of air conditioners.

  • Continuous filter cleaning.

  • Ventilation fans have been replaced with ones of new technology.

  • Fan coils have been replaced with ones of new technology.

  • Regular maintenance and replacement of filters using and taking all protective measures including respiratory protection.

  • Care for the systematic natural ventilation of the space through openings (windows, external doors) and even the parallel use of air conditioner

Miscellaneous

  • Decorative objects may be eliminated.

  • Common multi-purpose items, such as menus, magazines, info bulletins, brochures, etc... may be eliminated.

  • Installation of a disposable cover on the TV and Air Conditioning Controls may be allocated.

  • Fabric surfaces have been cleaned with a steam appliance (Temperature above 70 degrees)

  • All linen fabrics are professionally washed in high temperature wash cycles of 90 degrees with high grade detergents.

  • Provision of personal, protective equipment available at the Property for Guest safety.

  • We ask that only one person per family comes for Check-in to limit the number of people in the lobby

  • We strongly encourage all Guests to pay any balance ahead of Check-out electronically

  • Guests are requested to wear a face mask when in common areas of the property.

  • It is recommended that all Guests place all Requests electronically via Email OR Viber communication at least 3 Hours in advance of any Service requested to ensure proper availability and prompt service delivery.

  • A Doctor will be On Call, responsible to act on the instructions of EODY for testing suspected cases of Covid-19.

Beginning July 1, 2020, the Greek government has determined how the country will welcome travelers, carry out the necessary diagnostic screening and keep everyone safe throughout the season.

The Passenger Locator (PLF) is a key element in the planning. All travelers must complete their PLF until the day before entering the country, providing detailed information on their point of departure, the duration of previous stays in other countries, and the address of their stay while in Greece. In case of multiple stays, they are required to provide the address for the first 24 hours at least. One PLF should be submitted per family.
